This is my first post for Touhou category
It's a post about MariRin too.
To be more precise, it's also my first post for 2017. Where did all that time fly?

I got into Touhou not because of these two characters, of course. In fact, playing as Marisa was difficult at first. Now, she's my favorite choice. Not to mention as I learned more about her past and her character, I fell instantly for this character.

Who could say no to the only person in Gensokyo, where she's the only one who speak straightforwardly and not in riddle? Riddle is such a waste of time in term of communication. It is indeed has it's own charm, but for those who prefer pragmatic approach like me please spare me from those tongue-twisters purple prose.
No. Her being a blonde doesn't have to do with the fact she became my favorite character

Her dynamic with Rinnosuke is what hooked me to these two character and their special place, Kourindou.
Just like Kourin's nature of slow-aging, the store feels like it has been stopped in time. I like that kind of feel. It's also sad how he'll basically outlive any normal human in the series, including Marisa.
But probably, their bond too, is just like another chapter to his thick book of life. Such is why it's melancholic, yet precious.

I hope they could spend their time with each other carefully.
Separations would inevitably happen, one and in another way, but at least I hope she left him with beautiful memories.

...I keep saying like Marisa has passed away. But of course, it's just a what-if talk of the distant future.
Let's enjoy our life to the fullest, shall we?
I'll enjoy my time drawing more Marisa too.
